About

Hi, I’m Moataz (pronounced moe-taz). Nice to meet you.

My fascination with technology started in the mid-1990s, the first time I got my hands on a Zenith Data Systems PC. It did not take long before curiosity turned into creation, first with Visual Basic, then C++, and eventually into a career.

Fast forward to today, and I have spent nearly two decades in IT, wearing many hats along the way. I have worked as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, and Enterprise Architect. Titles aside, one thing has never changed. I am a builder at heart.

I get the most satisfaction from creating things that work, understanding how and why they work, and seeing them used to solve real problems. Building something meaningful, watching it come to life, and knowing it made a difference is what keeps me going.

I write about my experiences and views covering a garden variety of topics–like problem-solving and tech career growth. If you'd like to connect, feel free to leave me a message here. I'm also available on Linked In.
